Children care! I've never ever thought about that issue or considered it as an important thing. However, I changed my mind when I came to united state, because it's a very important issue here. On the other hand, people in my country just don't care about taking care of children, because it's already part of our culture, which is related to the Islam religion.

Here in US, people have some problems about who should take care of children, because working is also important for the parents of the children. As a result, they always try to find some solutions help them both to work such as having a part time job, work opposite hours, work from home, have a nanny or have grandparents to take care of their children.

In contrast, the man is responsible to be the one who works and takes care of the family budget, and the woman is responsible about taking care of her children. This is the most common situation in my country because of our culture. Even though, it's the most common, some women don't agree to stay home, so they try to get marry a little bit later than usual or have someone taking care of their children.

When I said that I have never ever thought about children care, I meant that it wasn't important to me when I was a child, because I have the greatest mother, who rose me between her arms. I've never ever felt lost, because she was always around me. Also, I can't forget my father, because he was the one who tries to afford everything I need.

In my point of view, taking care of children is not only important for the parents, but also effects the child life in the future and the relationship between the child himself and his parents. It's not only about making money, but it's about having a good children. What would you do with the whole money you earn if you didn't have a good children? This is the question that my father kept in mind when he told to my mother to quit her studying and take care of my brothers and me.

In short, the culture has a big impact on the way that people behave. It's very different between place to another. Many cultural things could be change to be either better or worst. However, I would say that I learned to consider about taking care of my children in the future, and I hope to be a good father to my children.

  1. I'm the very person who struggles to take care of children everyday here in Austin.
Especially in US, it's the hardest work to give a ride to them when you take care of children.
When I was in Korea, I lived together with the baby-sitter who took care of my children.
I didn't know it was hard to take care of children till I did it myself.
By the way, I'm sure that you should be a good father because you are already interested in and worried about taking of children at the age of teens.
