My first Halloween is one of the best holidays I have ever participated in America generally And Austin specifically. I did not expect the enjoyment I had in 6th street at the Halloween night. It was an awesome and full of fun night. Every one was dressed up and ready to act his custom personality. I surprised with the crowded in downtown, because I could not even drive my car there, and I could not find a a parking.

I impressed by the people in downtown, because I saw All kinds of people, and they were all happy. I amused myself talking and taking pictures with new people from different places. Downtown was so different than any celebration I've ever celebrated before. I just felt as a part of this day, so I enjoyed my time as same as others did. I was costumed with an afro wig and sunglasses.

Also, my parents participated in this Halloween for the second time in their life, because they were in California last year, and they had a lot of fun, because my little nephew was with them. This year was a little bit different in Austin, because they did not see beautiful decorated houses in their neighborhood. On the other hand, they enjoyed seeing a very beautiful houses with an amazing Halloween decoration. However, they enjoyed their time this year handing out some candy to the children.

Otherwise, we celebrate a very similar holiday in some parts of my country, which is Saudi Arabia. all children in the city go out of their houses visiting others' houses to get some candies. Also, everybody wears new clothes or any beautiful customs. It's so fun in that day too, because you see a lot of happy people.

This kind of celebrations give people an opportunity to show a picture of the nation's communication. It's kind of a social event, which helps people get closer and know more about each other. I really enjoyed the Halloween In Austin Texas as a first Halloween I've ever attended.

  2. I hoped I would go to the 6th street on that day, too. But I couldn't do because of my young kids. While reading your blog, I can feel the excitement and fun of Halloween on the 6th street indirectly. I really envy you for your interesting experience of Halloween in Austin.
